An Indian clothing company claiming to be the first in the world to contribute 10% of its sales to environmental projects has launched a new range including organic cotton and “bamboo knitted clothing”. The company has confirmed to sportstextiles.com that, by this, it means rayon extracted from bamboo.

Mumbai-based Fusion Clothing Company makes its claim because it donates 10% of sales to conservation projects carried out by the Bombay Natural History Society. It is also the first Indian company to become a member of the Swiss-based Association for Conservation.

The new collection includes clothes for men, women, boys and girls, ranging from sleeveless hoodies to polo shirts.
