Thoni Mara to put Nilit yarns in new running shirts

Israeli nylon 6.6 fibres manufacturer Nilit has announced that it will supply its EcoCare and Aquarius yarns to German sports brand Thoni Mara.
The Hamburg-based sportswear company will use the Nilit yarns in its new Green Fee running shirt collection, which it says is designed for "superior performance and comfort while being kind to the environment".
Nilit EcoCare is made of recycled polymer that provides high levls of colour depth and uniform dyeability. Aquarius is a high-performance yarn engineered to wick away moisture.
Thoni Mara chief executive, Christian Schwab, commented: “We have exacting standards for every aspect of our products and these Nilit yarns fully meet our requirements for colour, durability, moisture management and environmental friendliness.”
