Carvico introduces new technical fabric

30/04/2010

Italian warp-knit fabrics producer Carvico has introduced a new product called Sequoia, a fabric made with Nurel Reco nylon, a recycled polyamide yarn that comes from industrial waste.

The recycling process dramatically reduces the consumption of raw materials, decreases non-renewable energy dependence, significantly reduces carbon emissions and waste materials.

Carvico said on announcing the new fabric that the attraction of Sequoia is that it is in keeping with the company’s policy of being as environmentally sensitive as it can be and still produce fabrics with a high level of technical performance.
