Fila products are now available in Guyana for the first time. The Italian sportswear brand is selling its apparel, footwear and accessories in the country’s capital, Georgetown, through sole distributor Giftland OfficeMax.

The launch took place on May 14 and was attended by local athletes including sprinter Alicia Fortune, basketball star Akeem Kanhai and bodybuilder Sylvon Gardener, who will be endorsing the brand. Each will be provided with Fila gear and will be financed for tournaments by the company.
