Latest Gerber innovations at Spesa Expo

CAD/CAM and PLM solutions provider Gerber Technology will present its newest products for the apparel and other sewn products industries at Spesa Expo 2010 in Atlanta, Georgia.

The company will showcase a number of new products for the first time in North America, including YuniquePLM 3.0, AccuMark 8.4, GERBERplotter XLp95 and GERBERcutter DCS2600 with Pivex as well as newly integrated Virtek Laser systems for the technical textile and apparel industries.

YuniquePLM 3.0 features extended line and merchandise planning tools, at-a-glance management visibility dashboards and enhanced user and supplier home pages.

AccuMark 8.4 is a pattern design, grading and marker-making software solution enabling users to improve communication, collaboration and efficiency.

The Virtek Laser Systems will be demonstrated by the firm’s subsidiary, Virtek Vision International.  LaserKit, LaserID and LaserQC, designed to enhance productivity, quality and ease-of-use, will be presented alongside its GERBERcutters.

Its GERBERcutter range includes the DSC2600 with Pivex and is a high-speed, low-ply cutting system designed to cut a wide selection of complex materials with high precision.

Meanwhile, the GERBERplotter XLp95 offers the latest inkjet technology and provides intuitive LCD display panel and software interface.

Finally, GERBERconnect is a proactive support package to help customers maximise uptime and productivity. It provides interactive real-time diagnostics for improved system visibility, enhanced preventative maintenance and a faster system recovery.
