Fila Golf continues to grow
Fersten Worldwide, the exclusive licensee of Fila Golf in North America, has appointed golf industry veterans Ron Birrell and Steve Sakovitz as sales representatives in response to increased demand for the brands apparel for men and women.
Mr Birrell will represent the firm in the Greater Toronto area and throughout Ontario, Canada. Over the course of his career in the golf industry, Mr Birrell has developed relationships with hundreds of golf courses, country clubs, resorts, as well as off-course golf chains and specialty stores. He will be responsible for increasing Fila Golf's market share in those distribution channels.
Mr Sakovitz is well respected in golf and sporting-goods circles in New England. Covering Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont, he will service the growing number of golf shops looking to stock Fila Golf apparel for the first time as well as stores that are looking to expand their offerings.
Fersten Worldwide develops, designs, manufactures and distributes all Fila Golf apparel and headwear for the US and Canada.
