Sports Central expands retail network

Distributor of sport and lifestyle footwear and garments Sports Central Manila is setting up more outlets in the Philippines. Sports Central distributes goods made by a range of global sportswear brands including Nike and adidas.
The company claims that the growing trend for healthier lifestyles in the region is behind its decision to expand. Its main revenue driver is basketball footwear; however, demand for running and training shoes is also on the rise. A number of new gyms have opened in the Philippines, contributing to the increase in sales.
The distributor recently acquired an adidas store in Cebu city and has launched a Nike outlet there. Cebu is its largest sales hub.Share this story:
