OutDoor to welcome 860 exhibitors
Around 860 exhibitors from 39 countries are expected to attend the upcoming edition of OutDoor, which will take place in Friedrichshafen, Germany, on July 15-18.
"The international character and number of exhibitors have never been greater than at OutDoor 2010," says CEO of the organising company Messe Friedrichshafen, Klaus Wellmann, who said exhibitor numbers were up 6% compared with the last event. These exhibitors will represent around 1,000 brands, many of which have brand new innovations to showcase.
"We have designed the OutDoor conferences to give our guests an opportunity to start their day at the trade fair with a stimulating programme of presentations. At 8:30 every morning, before the trade show officially opens, we offer an intriguing mixture of interactions, continuing education, news and trends," says OutDoor project manager, Stefan Reisinger. All presentations will take place in the new East Conference Centre. Programme topics will include: social media relations; bluesign; standards and regulations; the launch of the new Eco Index by the European Outdoor Group’s Sustainability Working Group; hiking, a market with a bright future; the outdoor and women's market; the challenge of climate change; and the transition from a traditional to a high-tech outdoor world.
