Manchester meeting to discuss innovation in textiles

Global textile industry organisation The Textile Institute will host a conference in Manchester on June 10–11, inviting the global textile industry to meet and discuss the changes happening in output, structure and technology, covering all aspects of fibres, yarns, fabrics, machinery and manufacturing processing techniques.

Organised by the Institute’s technical textiles special interest group, the event will have the title ‘Managing Innovation in Textiles’.

There will 30 speakers from a variety of countries, including Germany, New Zealand, the UK, India and Nigeria.
