Clariant raises textile chemical and dye prices

04/06/2010
Clariant's textile chemical business unit has raised global prices for its entire textile product portfolio by between 5% and 40%. These increases will take effect immediately or as contracts allow.
According to the company, the price adjustments are the result of rising feedstock costs in all raw material segments during the first half of 2010, as well as higher transportation and energy costs.
Clariant customers will be contacted individually with specific information on price increases according to product and region.
