Hawkshead completes re-fit of Falmouth store

08/06/2010
Outdoor brand Hawkshead has announced the success of a re-fit project at its store in Falmouth, in the key outdoor and watersports region of Cornwall.

The company said that the complete store makeover that the Falmouth shop has undergone has already given a boost to sales, thanks also to “colourful new branding” and the launch of a new luxury spring-summer collection.

The re-fit project began in January 2010 and lasted until April 2010.The store interior has undergone a series of dramatic cosmetic changes, including plaid walls, a luxury white carpet and new lighting rig.

Store manager, Paul Caffrey, commented at the end of the project: “The re-fit has brought new life to the store with its bright colour scheme and updated designs, local residents have been flocking to see the improvements and have been nothing but complimentary about the store’s new look. Our customers range from outdoor aficionados to dog-walkers and gardening enthusiasts, so it’s important that we offer a clothing collection to suit all of these needs. Since the launch of Hawkshead’s new ‘British eccentric’ style spring-summer collection, sales have increased and we have seen more and more local customers return to the store for multiple purchases.”
