NanoHorizons announces exclusive SmartSilver deal for Korea

NanoHorizons, a provider of nanoscale performance additives for textile applications, has announced that Korean company J2LFA will become the sole distributor in the Korean textile and industrial markets of its SmartSilver antimicrobial additives, which are engineered to integrate silver nanoparticles at the molecular level.

“SmartSilver is economical and highly effective in the wide variety of textile applications,” said J2LFA chief executive, Lee Woo Bok, at the time of the announcement. “It is exceptionally versatile and works with both natural and synthetic fibres and fabrics without changing the way those fabrics look, feel, or perform. Plus SmartSilver is an environmentally responsible choice that supports our own commitment to sustainable products.”

J2LFA will market its SmartSilver-enhanced yarns to the athletic performance apparel sector, as well as in the workwear, safety apparel, and hosiery markets.
