Outdoor brand The North Face has opened a new retail store in the heart of Germany’s capital, Berlin.

Located along the famous Kurfürstendamm, the new retail store offers 300 square-metres of retail space on two levels; it opened for business on June 10, offering a wide array of merchandise from brand's spring 2010 collection.

“Berlin has a unique energy—it’s one of the world’s great hubs of design and innovation,” said Francesca Pozzi, European vice-president of retail for outdoor and action sports. “The city’s dynamic environment is a perfect backdrop for a pioneering and boundary-pushing brand like The North Face.”

As the seventh The North Face retail store to open in Germany, and the second to launch in Berlin in the past year alone, the brand said the latest store demonstrates its commitment to the country and the greater German-speaking market as a whole.
