AWI sponsors new Woolmark award

The PV Awards will, once again, form part of the Première Vision exhibition when it takes place in Paris this September. However, this time, there will be fifth award, the Special Woolmark Prize 2010, sponsored by Australian Wool Innovation (AWI), the body that supports Australian wool growers by carrying out research and development and market activities.

Judges will be searching for the fabric on display at the exhibition that best shows off innovation in its use of wool.

Other prizes at the PV Awards will be the Grand Jury Prize, the Innovation Prize, the Handle Prize and the Imagination Prize.

An international jury, headed by Italian designer Ennio Capasa, will announce the winners on the final day of the exhibition, September 16.
