O’Neill launches community website for board-minded girls

An online diary project begun by two young surf girls from Belgium has been developed by surf and winter sports brand O’Neill into a European-wide meeting point for all girls with a passion for boardsports.

The site, oneillfirstlovelastlove.com, features technical talk covering clothing and equipment, as well as tips on how to enjoy the surf and the snow more. There are also motivating stories with girls exchanging tales and setting their own goals without the pressure to perform. The aim of the site is fun, O'Neill says.

Enthusiasts in Belgium, Germany, the UK, France and the Netherlands will all have content specific to their region. The sites are brought to life with news from local O’Neill facebook fan pages, the bloggings of the brand'steam riders and ambassadors and feedback and chats between members.
