Turkish manufacturer chooses Biophyl for seamless garments

Eurotex has announced that it will introduce Biophyl seamless garments for women and men to its Green Is Smart collection.
The Turkish company has found Biophyl fabrics, which are made from more sustainable polymers than regular polyester, are well suited to this application because of their softness.
Sales executive Özlem Gündüz explained: “We are a company that operates in Europe and the US. Customers in these markets are very demanding in product quality and are also increasingly asking for environmentally friendly textiles. With the Biophyl seamless garments we can satisfy the needs for quality, comfortable and ecological textiles without compromise.”
Advansa presents Biophyl as a greener alternative to standard polyester and nylon. The carbon footprint of the yarns it uses to make Biophyl is 63% lower, it argues, because of the use of renewable resources and less energy in their production and in dyeing and finishing.
Advansa’s market manager for Biophyl, Luciano Colosanto, said: “We are pleased with Eurotex’s approach as this widens the portfolio of available Biophyl products into a sector with increasing market potential. This is a win-win-win situation for the textile industry, the consumers and the environment.”
