Two breakfast workshops at Friedrichshafen

The breakfast workshop series, started at last year’s event.
At the 2010 event, the breakfast workshops will take place on Friday, July 16 and Saturday, July 17. Both will take place in Room Berlin on the first floor in the East Entrance at Messe Friedrichshafen, starting at 8.30.
On the Friday the subject under discussion will be ‘How sustainable is your business’. Those in attendance will receive an overview of the Eco Index, a US-driven environmental assessment tool specifically for the outdoor industry. This will be followed at 9.30am by an in-depth workshop on how to use the Eco Index.
Saturday’s subject will be ‘Making regulatory compliance easier for you’, offering information on a new standards and regulations tool and a briefing on the French carbon footprinting legislation, followed again by a workshop at 9.30am.
The workshops are free for anyone attending OutDoor. All the SWG asks is that people interested in taking part register beforehand by sending an email confirming their name and company to vanessa.knowles@europeanoutdoorgroup.com for the Friday breakfast and to tim.hudson1@btconnect.com for the Saturday one.
The work of the SWG is not exclusive to members of the European Outdoor Group; it is operating on an open source basis and welcomes involvement from all areas of the supply chain.
