Paiho introduces new hook
30/06/2010
The company explained on making the announcement that the new hook is thinner and lighter. The gap between the Number 6 hook and the company's un-napped loop number 1057 is small after closure. This will mean greater wind-resistance on cycling apparel, for example.
Paiho added that there was no compromise on strength and that the same combination was well suited to shoes requiring "high fastening strength" such as those used in basketball, hockey and tennis, as well as to specialist winter sports products. It will not damage fabric and offers a high level of durability, the company said.
The Paiho group now has 30 years' experience in manufacturing and supplying material to the footwear and apparel industries. It has manufacturing bases in Taiwan, China and Vietnam, and, warehouses in North America and Spain. As well as hook-and-loop and reflective technology, it supplies elastics, webbing, shoe laces, 2D logos and bamboo charcoal fibres.
It uses high-quality material and advanced machinery to produce this range of products. In 2006, it invested more than $24 million on moulded hook machinery to increase its production capacity of hook-and-loop systems.
