More exhibitors at Expofil

07/07/2010

According to the show’s organisers, 39 spinners and fibre producers from 14 countries will participate at Expofil in Paris this September (14-16). This represents an 8% increase compared with the September 2009 edition of the show.

Among the exhibitors are two new names. The first, Dupont Sorona will present its textile polymer made partly from renewable sources. It is used to produce high-performance textiles for leisure and sportswear, ready-to-wear, swimwear and intimate apparel. The second is Egyptian cotton producer Setcore Spinning.

Three trend directions will be presented at the show. The Eco Chemistry trend underlines the search for new technologies refined by eco-friendly yarns, while the Naive Nature trend features natural irregularities, with authentic and subtle effects. The Dynamic Nature trend displays its multiple facets and performance features in combination with chemical fibres to offer well-being.
