New Deflexion technology at Dow Corning

Dow Corning Corporation, provider of silicone solutions for the textile industry, has introduced its new Deflexion impact-protection technology. It can be used for sports apparel, equipment and footwear, medical devices, personal protective equipment and luggage.

Deflexion technology is a performance textile and impact-absorbing material that is designed to protect. They can be cut and sewn directly into clothing, eliminating the need to insert uncomfortable padding. It is flexible, breathable, and washable.
