These brands include: Aristoc (UK), Cecilia de Rafael and Marie Claire (Spain), Dim (France), Esda and Nur Die (Germany), Filodoro, Golden Lady, Omsa, Pierre Mantoux and Philippe Matignon (Italy) and Marylin (Poland).
The hosiery fibre is said to offer comfort, good fit, freedom of movement and durability. According to the company, Lycra Fusion prevents scratches that can result in damaging runs.
Consuelo Banon, European manager, legwear at Invista, said: “Whether it is whilst running for the bus during rush hour or getting dressed in fabulous new tights for a romantic dinner, a run in hosiery can put a damper on most days.
