Malaysian sports apparel retailer announces new stores

Malaysian sports equipment and apparel retailer Mizi Sport Centre opened its latest store on July 30 and said it would add seven more outlets before the end of 2010.

Its latest outlet is in Nilai, close to Kuala Lumpur. Managing director, Mohd Azmi Mat Nayan, said on opening the store that the next store launch would be in Bangi, and that the company was actively looking for six more locations to set up in this year.

Mr Mohd Azmi said the market for sport equipment and fitness apparel was growing as more people become aware of the need to live a healthy lifestyle.
