Seminar idea a success
03/08/2010
The company, which develops, sources and produces fabric-based finished products for the outdoor market, worked with the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists to organise the seminar. The two main speakers were Mike Sweet, director of technical development at antimicrobial technology provider Polygiene, and Michele Wallace, associate director of product integrity at Cotton Incorporated.
Around 100 delegates from all parts of the industry attended.
Concept III founder, David Parkes, said afterwards: "There were more people than I expected and the people who were there were really interested. We had textile technicians and product developers there who want to know more about textiles. Yes, there is a lot of information on the internet and on different social media, but people still like to hear experts speak in person. We intend to repeat this at Outdoor Retailer in January."
