Speculation about Jack Wolfskin sale

05/08/2010
A reoprt from Bloomberg has suggested that the owners of German outdoor brand Jack Wolfskin, Quadriga Capital, may be considering selling it, linking sports brand adidas to the putative deal.

The news agency said it had spoken to people "familiar with the plan" who alleged that Morgan Stanley was working with Quadriga to find a buyer for the brand.

Jack Wolfskin’s sales rose by 22% last year to EUR 251.4 million euros and expansion plans for Italy, the UK, China and Korea are under way. There was no official comment from any of the companies said to be involved.
