China now has 33% of world textile exports market

According to the chairman of the China Textile Industry Association, Du Yuzhou, China's market share of global textile and apparel exports has reached 32.7%. Mr Du said the Chinese textile industry share was still growing.

In the first half of 2010, he said the value of the output from China's textile enterprises increased by 25.4% compared to the same period last year and that exports had grown by 22%. The value of domestic sales grew by 28.2%.
