Around 180 exhibitors from 18 countries are expected to attend the upcoming edition of SpinExpo, which will take place at the Pudong Expo Centre in Shanghai on September 7-9. Fibre, yarn and fabric manufacturers will present their autumn-winter 2011-12 collections at the show.

During the event, a number of catwalk events and seminars will take place. A trend forum organised by SpinExpo in conjunction with Sophie Steller Studio will also run. Ms Steller has more than 20 years of experience in yarn, colour and trend research, specialising in all aspects of knitwear design. All the products presented in the trend forum will be made using yarns from exhibitors participating in the fair.

The four main themes for the show will be Time to play, time to explore, time to escape and time to shine. According to the organisers, strong, warm and positive colours will be combined with sheen and metallic finishes.
