Event aims to build bridges between business and education

The Textile Institute recently organised an event in London called Design Means Business, hosted by the UK government. New designers from all areas of the textiles, clothing and footwear sectors took part.

The main objective was to enable executives, designers and technologists from industry and retail to understand what colleges can do to promote design in the business environment, providing a way to bridge the gap between education and industry.
