Vietnam increases textile exports in July

Vietnam’s textile exports in July had a value of $1.08 billion, a 9.8% increase over June, according to the country’s customs authorities.

In the first seven months of 2010, export turnover was valued at $5.6 billion, a year-on-year increase of nearly 16.9%.

The US remains Vietnam’s largest textile importer bringing in textile products worth $3.3 billion, followed by the EU with $986 million and Japan $580 million.
