The bureau went on to say that, in the period between January and May 2010, these companies turned over $65.7 billion, an increase of 29.2% compared to the same period in 2009. Their profits over the same five-month period increased by 75%, reaching just over $3 billion. It said this growth was down to an increase in domestic sales and market confidence.
