Sri Lankan manufacturer earns WRAP accreditation

In audits, WRAP found that the manufacturer complied with its 12 principles, covering workplace standards, local laws and workplace regulations which encompass human resources management, health and safety, environmental practices, and legal compliance including import and export and customs compliance and security standards.
“We are honoured that our facilities have received this accreditation from WRAP, which is a highly recognised certificate confirming us as a company that adheres to ethical, humane and lawful practices in the treatment of our employees, and protecting and safeguarding of the environment,” said the company’s chief executive, Prithiv Dorai. “We are conscious of our responsibility in terms of our corporate good governance policies to safeguard the environment and treat our employees—who are our greatest asset—in a profoundly humane way.”
