China: cotton fabric exports rise while imports fall

The customs authorities in China have reported exports of 696 million square-metres of cotton fabric in July, up by 36.4% from July 2009 and by 2.4% from June this year.
Imports of cotton fabric are below last year's levels at 75 million square-metres.
