More athletes using coldblack technology
According to Schoeller, its coldblack technology is being used by more and more cycling, triathlon and running brands, which means more athletes are feeling the benefit of it.
The company says that Blueseventy, Pearl Izumi, Skinfit, Roeckl and Thoni Mara are among the brands using the sun protecting technology. And triathlete Paul Ambrose is one of the athletes that is benefiting from this as he wears Descente apparel, which contains coldblack.
"The benefits of the comfortable and light Avanti Tri suit from Descente with coldblack became apparent during a race in a region with one of the hottest and most humid climates – the south of Florida,” says Mr Ambrose. “My clothes helped me avoid overheating during the race. I was able to concentrate solely on getting ahead as quickly as possible in the gruelling heat."
