According to reports, Italy-based shoe manufacturer Geox is thinking about sponsoring its first Formula One team next season.

Known for its "shoes that breathe", the company is believed to have held preliminary talks with more than one Formula One team including Red Bull.

According to Reuters, founder and chairman, Mario Moretti Polegato, told reporters: "Extreme sports with high technological content such as cycling and Formula One can be interesting to us."
