Apparel brand Bravada International has picked Calgary, Canada, as the Canadian headquarters of its Bravada Women’s Athletica retail chain. According to the company, the city’s inhabitants are among those with the highest disposable income levels in North America and are also very interested in living active lifestyles.

The company has already chosen a specific location for its new Calgary store, which it hopes to open before the end of the year. It says it is experiencing robust growth and is expecting this trend to continue at a faster pace once its Calgary operations get underway. Bravada CEO, Danny Alex, grew up in the city and has important contacts there.
