Pikeur wins award for trousers with HeiQ technology

Germany-based equestrian brand has been awarded the Spoga Horse Innovation Award for a collection that features technology from HeiQ Materials.
The company received the award in Cologne for its riding trouser collection featuring using the Barrier water and stain repellent treatment from Swiss specialty chemicals company HeiQ Materials. According to the company, the trousers allow the rider to remain dry and comfortable regardless of the weather. Using a special surface structure, Barrier prevents water, oil and other stains from staying on the surface of the fabric.
“This award demonstrates clearly that our unique water and oil repellency products indeed provide recognised benefits to consumers of high-tech fabrics for demanding uses such as horse riding.
