New ClimaProof garments at adidas Golf
Performance apparel and footwear company adidas Golf has added new ClimaProof outerwear garments to its collection. The range is available in four categories: storm, rain, wind and wind-warm.
New additions to the storm line include the ClimaProof Storm Ultimate Jacket and ClimaProof Storm Ultimate Pant. The jacket incorporates lightweight, reinforced double-layer shoulder inserts, four-way mechanical stretch, seam-sealed waterproof zippers, waterproof protection to 20,000mm and breathability of 26,700 g/m2/24hrs.
An earlier product in the range, the ClimaProof Storm All-Weather Caddy Suit, has been selected as the official supplier of the Bandon Dunes caddy force.
The rain range includes the ClimaProof Rain Provisional Jacket and ClimaProof Rain Provisional Pant, both of which are highly wind-resistant, fully seam-sealed, waterproof to 3,000mm and offer breathability of 3,000gm/m2/24hrs.
The wind collection offers high wind- and water-resistance as well as being lightweight and water resistant up to 600mm, while the wind-warm line helps the wearer to maintain body heat without adding bulk or restricting the swing.
“Adidas Golf takes pride in providing the golfer with apparel that is technologically advanced and fulfils every need,” said Tiss Dahan, senior director of global apparel. “The style and innovation that exists with all of our adidas Golf products is displayed in these outerwear pieces, and we believe that our innovation with ClimaProof will provide golfers with the ultimate outerwear protection so that they can continue to play golf year-round.”
