Sugoi introduces new technical garments for cold weather
Canada-based cycling, triathlon and running apparel manufacturer Sugoi has launched a range of new products for autumn-winter 2010 featuring a range of new materials and styles.
The aim of the collection is to allow athletes to do what they love regardless of the weather and focuses on moisture management, insulation and protection.
The company has built upon its tradition of transitional layering, which ranges from core innerwear garments to outer layers. New products include the company’s latest mid-layer convector pieces. These garments have a brushed underside for next-to-skin comfort, combined with moisture transfer and thermal benefits to be used in cold weather. Another is the Fino-Carbon baselayer, which offers functional stretch and features x-odor fibres which fight bacterial build-up.
In terms of performance outerwear, the newest addition to the range is the Versa Jacket, a versatile garment made from Argon fabric which offers breathability and water resistance. It has magnetic sleeves so that the jacket can be turned into a vest on warmer days. Another new item, the Majik Shell offers waterproofing and stretch and comes in jacket and trouser form.
