New chairman at the IFCP
Zbigniew Roskwitalski has been elected chairman of the International Forum for Cotton Promotion (IFCP) for a fourth consecutive term at the association’s annual business meeting. Mr. Roskwitalski is executive director of the Gdynia Cotton Association, based in Poland.
Nayan Mirani, vice president of the Cotton Association of India will continue as vice chairman and Jan Wellmann of the Bremen Cotton Exchange will continue as treasurer.
Jeffrey Silberman continues in the post of executive director. He is also the chairperson of the textile development and marketing department at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
The meeting was in Lubbock, Texas, on September 24 and ran concurrently with the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC’s) plenary meeting.
