Italy-based outdoor performance products manufacturer CAMP has launched a series of new products for mountain sports and activities, with a particular emphasis on safety.

The CAMPack M3 is a new day pack for mountaineering, ski mountaineering and ice climbing. It offers a backdoor opening to allow access all the compartments and comes with ice axe attachment loops and a helmet holder which can be hidden. It features a gear/ski holder on the side and rope carrying webbing on the lid. The backpack weighs 930 grammes and has a 30-litre capacity.

The CAmp Jasper CR3 is the company’s latest harness and features adjustable leg loops for climbing and mountaineering. The padding slides along the waist belt to centre the front tie-in point and the harness is made from comfortable 3D Mesh on the inside and anti-abrasion nylon fabric on the outside. It weighs 425 grammes.

The CAmp Peak Down is a new light down winter jacket from the brand’s Essential line for active winter sports and climbing. Its elasticated, but not padded, waist improves access to the body. The outer part of the jacket is made from the company’s light, robust Sheltex fabric, while the inner part is made from its Araneum fabric, which is light and soft to the touch.
