Bemis features in museum display

Based in the town since 1988, Bemis is now celebrating 100 years in business.
Speaking at the launch of the display, chief executive, Steve Howard, said that one of the reasons that Bemis is still going strong is that it was able to adapt to the change in the global apparel manufacturing market that occurred at the end of last century. He said: “Many companies fought it, but many of those companies aren’t around anymore because of that philosophy. We now have offices and distributors in Asia, but always manufacture in the US.”
