Pieffe Sport puts ThermoCool in new socks

Italian sport and leisurewear Pieffe Sport has launched new lines of technical socks for running and trekking. The new socks, called Bee 1, feature ThermoCool technology from technical fibre and fabrics manufacturer Advansa.

ThermoCool garments have a fibre mix that provides evaporative cooling, designed to keep the user dry and cool when the body temperature increases, and also thermo-buffering properties to help keep the user warm when the temperature decreases.

The running socks are made in a very fine and soft construction for a better fitting to the foot and with a light terry loops in the sole for maximum comfort while promoting air circulation beneath the foot. The trekking socks feature comfort with a special construction pattern to prevent friction and allow better movement of the foot.

“We at Pieffe Sport have decided to use as premium yarn the unique fibre mix of ThermoCool for its superior dual-functionality. We are very happy to launch this high-tech collection of socks with the perfect material giving the best performance advantages to outdoor enthusiasts,” commented Francesco Rossignoli, marketing director of Pieffe Sport.
