PrimaLoft makes a winter impression

Italian brands lead the way. Those to name PrimaLoft on their supplier lists include Salewa (for its Magna PRL PTX women’s vest), Dainese (in a mountaineering jacket and pants combination called, curiously, because there are no mountains near it, London), and Lowe Alpine (in an ultra lightweight jacket called New Magna).
German company Schöffel also features, thanks to the PrimaLoft content in its stylish and versatile Mountainloft Hoody jacket.
Lafuma from France and Kjus from Switzerland are other brands to have used PrimaLoft in new winter jackets, respectively the LD Laax Check and the Ladies Airflex products. These are joined by the Vatnajökull from Iceland’s 66º North, the Fang from the UK’s Mountain Equipment, the Nano Puff Hoody from California’s Patagonia and the Dunfri Insulated Comfortshell from Sweden’s Houdini.
Each of these winter sports companies recognises PrimaLoft’s ability to offer high levels of water-resistance, compressibility, breathability and warmth retention, even in the most challenging winter weather conditions.
