Chinese textile exports pass $20 billion for third month running

The authorities in China have reported that the value of September’s exports of textile goods increased by 19.5% compared to the same month last year to more than $20 billion.

This is the third successive month in which the value of exports from China’s textile industry has been higher than $20 billion.

Cumulatively, the industry’s exports from January–September 2010 have increased in value by 23.2% compared to 2009, reaching $149.8 billion.
