Macron renews Leeds United deal

Italian sportswear brand Macron has announced a renewal for six years of its deal to supply shirts and other kit to English football club Leeds United.

In 2008, Leeds, currently in the second tier of English football, became the first UK club to sign up with Macron, which also supplies top teams in Italy, Spain, Belgium and Portugal.

The company’s chief executive, Gianluca Pavanello, said on announcing the new deal: “Macron is very proud for the extension of the partnership with the club. Leeds was the first club to believe in Macron in the UK.”
