Reports in Singapore say Japanese sportswear manufacturer Descente will set up a new sales operation there.

The sales unit is expected to be operational from March 2011 and to begin distributing goods from all Descente brands in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

As well as its own golfwear and athletic brands, Descente is a licensed manufacturer and distributor in many parts of Asia of several European and North American sports and outdoor brands.
