Kentwool has added LPGA Tour star Jane Park to its team of players. The company produces performance socks specifically engineered for golfers.

As part of a multi-year agreement, Ms Park will compete in the company’s merino wool women’s golf socks and will display the brand’s logo on her headwear and bag. She will appear also in company marketing initiatives and on its online store.

“There’s no doubt Kentwool helps my game,” says Ms Park. “Knowing my feet will stay cool, comfortable and, most important, blister-free gives me the confidence to play my best.”

In 2004, Ms Park won the US Women's Amateur Championship and reached the finals of the US Girls' Junior Championship. Since her 17-under-par victory at the 2007 LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, she has registered six top-ten finishes and more than $900,000 in earnings.

Kentwool golf socks are designed to increase comfort and energy levels using merino wool and its WINDspun air-infused technology. A blend of natural and high-tech fibres provide moisture management and odour-control benefits.

Cushioning at strategic micro-stress points along the foot result protect the wearer from abrasions, while engineered heel, toe and bridge elements provide support and protection against injury.
