Greg Norman takes charge in Mexico
Golf-inspired sportswear firm Greg Norman Collection has taken over the distribution of its products in Mexico with immediate effect. The company, which previously used a distribution company to handle its Mexican division, will service the business from its US-based operations.
Greg Norman Collection is currently distributed at a number of resorts across Mexico including Punta Mita, El Camaleon Mayakoba, Palmilla Golf Club, Puerto Los Cabos and CostaBaja Resort and Marina.
"Bringing the business back in house enables us to have increased control of the brand and offer the region a more expanded assortment of the collection than what has previously been available," said Michael Setola, president and CEO, Greg Norman Collection. "We expect a seamless transition with a sales and service plan in place ready for the spring 2011 launch."
