Arkema unveils ambitious growth plan

French chemicals company Arkema launched an ambitious five-year plan at its investor day on November 23.

The company plans to generate more than EUR1 billion (EBITDA) by 2015, doubling its current level. Sales for 2010 are expected to total EUR5.8 billion and are projected to reach EUR7.5 billion by 2015.

Innovation, faster growth in emerging countries, particularly in Asia, and new acquisitions will be the main components of its development project.
