Orders rise at China Dongxiang
Chinese sportswear brand China Dongxiang has posted a rise in orders for the second quarter of fiscal 2011. According to Reuters, order book value grew 2.8% during the three-month period.
However, the company recognises that the retail situation in China remains problematic.
"In light of the challenging operating environment in China's sportswear industry, retailers are under pressure. As such, we have asked our distributors to place pre-orders prudently," chief executive Qin Dazhong said in a statement.
