US footballer Tom Brady to endorse UGG
Quarterback footballer Tom Brady has signed up to endorse Australian footwear maker UGG, better known for its sheepskin boots for women. The shoe manufacturer is trying to expand into the male market, and Mr Brady has agreed to become the face of that endeavor, according to USA Today.
“This partnership marks a new season for UGG Australia, and Tom Brady is the ideal first endorser for the brand," said Angel Martinez, CEO of UGG's parent company. "He embodies the stylish casual attitude that is at the foundation of every product we make, and is as much a style icon off the field as he is a playmaker on it.”
Brady will also consult on ‘product inspiration’ for the brand, and said that he was excited to be a part of the UGG family, stating: "I have worn and loved the UGG brand for a long time.”
